Nicole is out of the house by 5:45 on school days. Usually, I am fast
asleep, but today I managed to get up and make some breakfast.

Emigrant wilderness backpacking
This is from a few weeks ago when I went backpacking with Martin.
We're at the top of the first pass here, and if you look closely, you
can see the trail winding around the ridge in the distance, and up
over the next pass at more than ten thousand feet.
